Cucumber Mint Aqua Fresca

When summer is around, One thing we all love is summer cooler drinks, be it Juices, Lemonade or Shakes. Any of these when serve chilled feels like heaven on earth.

So, let’s add on more name to our summer drinks category and that is the Aqua fresca drink made up of Cucumber and fresh mint leaves.

Easy to prepare and very refreshing. It also helps in re hydration and it’s a very good appetizer also as it contains cucumber.

So, let’s get started 🙂

INGREDIENTS:

For two glass of aqua fresca drink, you will need

  • One grated Cucumber
  • Few mint leaves
  • Soda water
  • Black salt
  • Lime juice 4 tbsp
  • Sugar for taste
  • Ice cubes

PREPARATIONS:

Step 1:

Grind Grated cucumber, mint leaves, Lime juice and sugar together until it becomes very loose in consistency.

Step 2:

Take a glass add the mint cucumber mixture in it, then add ice cubes and black salt.

In order to make ice cubes looks more fresh..I have added few mint leaves while freezing them.

Step 3:

Fill rest of the glass with soda water. add one more cube of ice on top.

For decorating the glass:

Before adding any thing to the glass, Cut thin stripes of cucumber as shown in the picture below.

Place the strip in the glass, and press with fingers.

It is just for beautifying the glass, you can skip this if you don’t want.

Cucumber-Mint aqua fresca drink is ready.
