Shakar Para (Sweet Snack)

Ingredients:

. 1/2 Cup Milk

. 1/2 cup sugar

. 1/2 cup ghee/Butter

. 1/2 cup refined flour

. 1/2 cup wheat flour

. Dry flour as required

. Oil

. Caramelized Sugar

Preparations:

Step 1

Take a container add water to it

Add half bowl butter and half cup sugar to the container

Let the water boil until sugar melts.

Keep the water aside, , let it cool

When it gets cooled down take it in a bowl and add flour to it , quantity as per requirement.

Cut it into diamond shape or whichever shape you want as shown in the picture below.

Boil  half cup sugar in  one cup water until it gets caramelized and pour it over fried Shakar Para.

You can skip the step of pouring caramelized sugar, if you want Shakar Para to be less sweet.

Onion Uttapam

Ingredients:

.Dosa Batter ( Ready made or home made whichever you wish, But don’t forget to add salt as per taste)

.One chopped green chili

.Half grated carrot

.Half chopped tomato

.Coriander leaves, finely chopped

Preparations:

Step 1

Heat  the non stick tava and add Dosa batter to it in circular motion as shown in the picture below.

Add all the chopped vegetables to it , then add one tbsp oil.

Step 3

Let it cook for three minutes on a medium flame then flip to the other side.

Cook for four minutes on very low flame and then turn the stove off.

Oyster Mushroom Roll

Oyster Mushroom

Wheat flour dough

Half capsicum medium sized

Half carrot

One small sized tomato

One small sized onion for filling

One small sized grated onion for wrap

Spring leaves

Ginger and Garlic paste

Two green chili

Red Chili powder

Coriander chutney

Mayonnaise

Vinegar

Tomato Ketchup

Chili sauce

Schezwan Chutney

Salt

Egg (Optional)

Preparations:

Step 1

Make dough using wheat flour just the way we do for paranthas and keep it aside

Note: You can also use Maida in place of wheat flour.

Step 2

Chop all the vegetables mentioned above.

Step 3

Heat a kadhaai, add two tbsp oil

Step 4

Add ginger and garlic paste, chopped onion, schezwan chutney 1 tbsp and saute for 1 minute on a low flame.

Add all the vegetables mentioned above to the kadhaai and saute until they become soft on a low flame.

Add washed and chopped mushroom to it as shown in the picture below.

Step 7

Add vinegar, dry coriander powder, chili sauce, tomato ketchup and salt to it and cook for three minutes then turn the stove off.

Step 8

Roll the already prepared dough into chapati, add oil to the tava and cook like normal parantha.

Note: Keep the size of the parantha litter bigger than the usual parantha,

Step 9

Fill the ingredients layer by layer on the parantha,

First coriander chutney, then mushroom and vegetable filling, a layer of mayonnaise.

Then Chili sauce, grated onion, chopped spring leaves, tomato ketchup and cheese (Optional)

You can add egg bhurji also, If you are non vegetarian like me, otherwise without egg also it will do.
