Ingredients:
. 1/2 Cup Milk
. 1/2 cup sugar
. 1/2 cup ghee/Butter
. 1/2 cup refined flour
. 1/2 cup wheat flour
. Dry flour as required
. Oil
. Caramelized Sugar
Preparations:
Step 1
Take a container add water to it
Step 2
Add half bowl butter and half cup sugar to the container
Step 3
Let the water boil until sugar melts.
Step 4
Keep the water aside, , let it cool
Step 5
When it gets cooled down take it in a bowl and add flour to it , quantity as per requirement.
Step 6
Knead the dough
Step 7
Roll it like chapati
Step 8
Cut it into diamond shape or whichever shape you want as shown in the picture below.
Step 9
Deep fry
Step 10
Boil half cup sugar in one cup water until it gets caramelized and pour it over fried Shakar Para.
Step 11
You can skip the step of pouring caramelized sugar, if you want Shakar Para to be less sweet.
I have prepared both ways 🙂
Shakar Para can be stored more than three weeks in a air tight container.
Superb..this one is my favorite snack…Yummy.
