Roti Poha and Roti Kadhi

If you have last night left over roti and you want to use it and transform it into a whole new dish then you are absolutely at the right place. Here we are going to use left over roti in two ways, One for breakfast and the other for lunch as kadhi

Let’s get started.


  • 2 Left over Roti
  • Butter milk one cup
  • Chopped onions, half
  • 1 Chopped green chili
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Salt for taste
  • Half tbsp sugar
  • Dry red chili
  • Black mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Pinch of garam masala.


Step 1:

Mash Roti in a bowl as shown in the picture below.


Step 2

Heat a kadhaai, add oil, Black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chili, dry red chili, chopped onion.

When onion turns golden brown in color, add pinch of turmeric powder, garam masala, salt for tatse and half tbsp sugar.


Step 3

Add mashed roti to it and cook for 3-4 minutes on a low flame.


Mix the mixture well


Roti Poha is ready, Serve with tea as breakfast.



Now, If you want to use roti for lunch then you can make kadhi with it.

Let all the above process be same, Just when the roti get mixed well with all the spices, add one bowl of butter milk to it as shown in the picture below.


Add sugar and salt according to your taste.

Cook for two minutes on a low flame.

Roti kadhi is ready.


Serve it in lunch with other vegetables, dal, rice etc.
