The cucumber raita is yet another very simple and easy side dish . Cucumber raita is simple, quick and a lovely dish, It can be had as an accompaniment with some vegatable curry or Chapatis, even great with dal-rice. you can also have the raita as a dip with fresh, roasted or baked veggies.
Ingredients:
1: Grated Cucumber
2: 1 bowl of fresh curd
3: Half finely chopped onion.
4: Finely chopped coriander leaves (Optional)
5: One green chilli
6: Cumin seeds
7: Black pepper
8: Red chili powder
9: Salt
10: Sugar
PREPARATION:
1: Put Curd in a bowl
2: Grind green chili, black pepper and cumin seeds in mixer grinder and mix the powder in the curd.
3: Put all the above ingredients in the curd as shown in the picture below.
4: Add sugar, salt & red chili powder as per your taste.
5: Whip all the ingredients properly in the curd & add few drops of water to make it smooth.
6: Your Cucumber raita is ready to be served, Garnish with grated carrot or Coriander leaves 🙂
