You can use spinach in variety of dishes, but today I am telling you a very easy and tasty recipe which is known as Palak Kadhi.
- Spinach leaves (palak) 30-35
- Sour yogurt whisked 1 cup
- Gram flour (besan) 2 tablespoons
- Oil 2 tablespoons
- Green chillies 2-3
- Ginger 1 inch piece
- Dried red chili
- Onion 1 medium
- Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder a pinch
- Step 1Whisk gram flour and yogurt till smooth. Add 2 cups water and whisk again.

Grind together green chilies, 10-12 spinach leaves and ginger with a little water to a fine puree and then mix it with Yogurt-Gram flour mixture.

Heat oil in a non stick pan, add Cumin seeds, mustard seeds and onion.
When onions becomes soft add Gram flour, yogurt and spinach puree mixture to it.

Also add pinch of Turmeric powder and salt to taste in it.

Chop remaining spinach leaves and add to the kadhi.
- Step 6
Simmer the mixture for a couple of minutes.
Palak Kadhi is ready. Serve hot with steam rice 🙂
